Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. She is best known as the anchor for the CNN morning program At This Hour. She also co-anchored the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a key part the award-winning CNN coverage of the presidential elections of 2012 and 2016. Bolduan also worked as a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was the Capitol Hill Unit member when she reported on the Congress cycle and events such as the discussions to raise the limit of federal credit or the deliberations of the super committee. Her work on general assignments has included stories regarding Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in the year 2007. As a national correspondent she covered breaking news as well as feature stories for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates.
