Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback performer and a musician who works predominantly in Tamil as well as Malayalam film languages. Her acting debut was with the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and also made her Malayalam debut in Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah comes from an Anglo-Indian origin. She was born to an attorney from the Madras High Court attorney. She has one younger sister who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah, who was born in Chennai went to National Public School. He completed his studies at Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical musician who was extremely geeky. The film was an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed, with Andrea portraying Kalyani a homemaker whose husband engages in an affair and is targeted by a blackmailer. Andrea was approached after Simran Shobana and Tabu. The movie was announced in the early part of the year 2010. She agreed in 2011 to play a minor support role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha that was came out in August 2011. Annayum Rasoolum which is a romance film directed by Rajeeev Ravi, that was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
