Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. Biles is thought as one of the top gymnasts. at the 2016 Olympics that took place in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games and also became the first gymnast to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Both she and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone discovered her love for gymnastics at the age of six on one of the field trips for daycare at Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years under direction of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles won a gold in the floor exercise as well as a bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite gymnastics competition in the year 2011. In less than two years, Biles was a dominant competitor in the sport. Biles's steadfastness, her enthusiastic nature and high degree of challenge in her four events -- vault uneven bars, floor exercise, vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise, and floor exercise -- set her aside.
