Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast, who was regarded as one of the world's top athletes. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games and also became the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive titles in the world's all-around competition (2013-15). Biles and the younger of her sisters Adria were taken in from Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area), grew up there. Simone first became interested in the sport of gymnastics at the age of six. Coach Aimee Borman accompanied her to Bannon's Gymnastix, where they went to a field trip. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercise and a bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the top level of competing in the year 2011. In less than two years, Biles was a dominant competitor in the sport. The thing that set Biles apart was the consistency of her exuberant personality and the level of challenge she introduced into her workout routines for all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam and the floor workout.
